Do You Exercise Your Mind With Puzzles?


I cannot wait to feel the warmth of the sun while lounging in a bikini with a good crossword puzzle. Have I ever mentioned I love crossword puzzles? I find them to be extremely relaxing and I love to do them in the evening once everyone is asleep, “Me Time”. I also love to do jigsaw puzzles, we do those as a family. Doing puzzles is a great way to exercise your mind!

Just like physical exercise helps prevent muscle loss and improves functions; mental exercise improves mental functions and increases your chance of avoiding memory loss and dementia. Studies have shown that if the brain is used and challenged, it gets stronger and works more efficiently.
