Why do I like to keep my abs strong? Your abs are part of your body that is called core. Shoulders to your pelvic area make up your core.  A strong core is important for good balance, stability and flexibility. Most physical activities depend on stable core muscles so you need to keep them in shape by doing exercises that will strengthen them. Having good core strength could also improve your posture and may protect you from lower back pain.
