Crock-Pot Beef Round Steak In Green Pepper Tomato Sauce Over Pasta

Ingredients


olive oil
2lbs beef round steak
pepper
2 large green peppers, rinsed, chopped
2 large onions, chopped
6 Tbsp garlic, chopped
1 Tbsp parsley
1 Tbsp basil
3 - 28oz cans diced tomatoes, drain, rinse well
Your favorite pasta, cooked to package directions






Recipe Mix


Olive oil your crock-pot and set temp to high. Olive oil spray a frying pan and sauté green peppers, onion and garlic for about 6 minutes over medium/high heat. While that is sautéing, drizzle olive oil into a large frying pan and set to medium/high heat and brown your round steak 3 minutes on each side, remove from heat. Also remove your sautéed veggies from heat. Cut your round steak into 2" pieces and place on the bottom of the crock-pot, then sprinkle as much pepper as you like over meat. Next, place your green pepper, onion, garlic mix on top of round steak. Now evenly sprinkle the parsley and basil over the green pepper mix, then add your diced tomatoes on top of entire mix. Now put lid on and let cook for 6 hours. Serve over your favorite pasta. And a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon,. Enjoy!!
