DIET CABBAGE SOUP

Ingredients


8 cups cabbage, chopped (2 small heads)
3 cups tomatoes, chopped
1 large jalapeno, chopped
1 large sweet onion, chopped
5 Tbsp garlic, chopped
5 cups chicken broth homemade, see below (you can also substitute with water)
2 Tbsp Mrs. Dash, original
1 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp basil



Recipe Mix


Olive oil spray your slow cooker and set temp to high. Prep all your ingredients then add to slow cooker, mix well. Set temperature to low and place lid on top, let cook 5 - 6 hours. DELICIOUS!

Homemade Chicken Broth: take 3 large boneless chicken breasts and place in an olive oil sprayed baking dish, pour 5 cups of water over chicken. Tent with foil and bake 48 minutes. You will now have fresh broth without all the sodium once the chicken is done baking!
